Contemporary Calm

Forty West is a collection of seven contemporary townhouses with interiors that reflect the St Heliers lifestyle — sophisticated, calm and effortlessly liveable. Inspired by the coastal surroundings and the warmth and attention to detail found in quality hotels, the design combines everyday practicality with considered finishes to create a sense of home that feels both elevated and welcoming.

Our work spans spatial planning, interior design, material selection and supplier sourcing, with a focus on texture, proportion and the way each space feels. A layered palette of warm and cool neutrals with earthy undertones introduces coastal softness, while wood cabinetry, stone and textured finishes bring warmth, character and depth. Taj Mahal benchtops, ABI Interiors tiling and tapware, and Bremworth wool carpet contribute to an interior that feels relaxed, refined and enduring.

The design considers the different moments of everyday life: kitchens designed for gathering, open living spaces for connection and entertaining, calm bathrooms for daily rituals, and restful bedrooms for privacy and relaxation. Working alongside the development team, we bring these elements together through carefully coordinated selections that balance quality, practicality and budget. Currently in progress, Forty West is taking shape as a collection of welcoming homes with timeless appeal.
